Do What You Need To Do For You
Can I tell you a secret? Okay fine—it ain’t really a secret. It’s just my gift. My superpower. I provoke high-achieving, over-functioning Black women into finally having a relationship with themselves in order to flourish. AND then give to others through their OVERFLOW (Brittainy Noel said— nailed it.)

🚫 You’re Not “The Help”
I've said this countless times... Black women, you were NOT placed on God’s green earth just to serve, fix, or save everybody else. I know, I know—we’ve been typecast as “the help” since forever. And yes, we’re phenomenal at it. But that’s not our identity.
We were put here to grow, develop, PIVOT, learn, rest, and repeat. We were not put here to be invisible, depleted, tired, hurt, beat down, and used up. Nah—that would be cruel. So this whole idea that our sole purpose is to live for other people? Baby, that’s straight-up nonsense.
⏸️ Stop Stealing Other People’s Lessons
Yes, you heard the other stuff before. BUT THIS IS WHAT I REALLY WANT TO SAY—stop robbing your friends, family, and loved ones of their own perosnal growth. Stop hovering, blocking, taking blows for them and over-functioning just to make sure they don’t suffer like you did. They won’t—because they’re them, not you. They’ve got their own battles (and trust me, half the time they don’t even understand yours).
So do me a favor: step back. LET THEM LEARN (that's not mean... that's respecting their free will.. even when it leads to suffering). They’ll make it. I mean the WHEN is to be determined... but they will. You did.
And the BEST way you can show them how to win to to truly LIVE. By laughing. By flourishing in your own joy. NOPE! THAT'S NOT SELFISH AT ALL.
Trust me—nobody’s getting left behind. You’re just showing the way out of struggle and into freedom by embracing your own authencity.
