Say It Louder For The People In The Back
Y’all, I need you to really hear me. AGAIN.
(Yes, I know I just said it yesterday… but trust—it’s worth repeating on this good afternoon):
THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
The world is OFF THE RAILS.
Reality is giving "made-for-Netflix movie" sprinkled with a side of trauma.
And I know—I be talking, writing, warning, fussing, and carrying on about putting down the Superwoman cape. But this is different. Because struggling with being “strong” right now? That’s not the flex.
So no—this ain’t the time to tough it out, power through, or beat yourself up because you're not hitting all your goals. Baby, the WORLD in survival-mode disguised as a Tuesday.
Understand this season has no official end date. There’s no bottom right now. We are only at the beginning of it all.
So .. being in constant fight-or-flight ain’t it. There is not enough information to brace for the next crisis, the next loss, the next thing to fix.
The stress, the chaos, the uncertainty—they’re on repeat and they are overlapping. Our minds, bodies, and emotions CAN NOT keep paying the price of it all in full.
So what am I saying? Basically, use all that energy to be present in your being. Our job isn't to fix the world. It's figuring out how to be human in it.
What does that even mean? Again. It means be present. Give yourself what you need NOW. And know that the answer ain’t performance or perfection—it’s honoring our solid self and continuing to grow kindness toward self from within.
✨ Grow.
Not by producing more. Not by performing harder. But by deepening your roots.
-
Get clear on your needs. And address them NOW!
-
Nurture your nervous system.
-
Choose well-being.
You don’t owe anyone or anything the “strong version” of you at this moment. You owe yourself your humanity.
